I hear that train a’comin………

Being “stuck in a rut” is no funny business. Droning away each day working harder than the next, wondering when your break is coming. Then when you do get a restoration break you have to come back and work overtime to completely cancel out your vacation. These are things that happen in one’s daily life, but to want something so close but so far, and be stuck in your rut to wait out time is a different matter. There’s a point when you feel you can no longer wait, you must break free, but its impossible! You HAVE to wait it out. To feed yourself and your family, and provide the roof over your head. These are dangerous times when ones hope loses sight and only sees darkness. But my friend, if you keep looking it will come. Time is a funny thing, it does not bend to our will no matter how much we force it. It ticks second by second and no faster. Always want for more and always appreciate what you have. Your time here isn’t guaranteed, and although the average blue collar Joe cannot take off to Paris when he gets inspired, he can start working on the hobby he’s always wanted, or take his wife out for a romantic dinner.
